Scripture-grounded studies on the identity, divinity, and sonship of Jesus Christ — the Word who was with God, the only begotten of the Father, sent into the world to save sinners.
Why Christ is divine — and what the answer settles for the gospel.
Christians of nearly every persuasion agree that Jesus Christ is divine. The question this study addresses is not whether He is divine, but why. Scripture grounds the answer in His being literally the only begotten Son of the Father — brought forth before any created thing, sharing the Father’s nature by inheritance, possessing the divine life that the Father gave Him at His begetting. Eternal life is in this Son. The gospel hangs on it.
