Why You Were Made
Before you can understand the gospel, you have to know why you exist. We were not made to perform for God but to be His children — and everything about righteousness by faith begins there.
The Fall and the Reign of Death
Sin is not first a list of bad deeds; it is a broken relationship and a fallen nature, and its wage is death. To see why we need a Savior, we must see honestly what went wrong.
The Second Adam
Where the first Adam fell, a Second Adam stood. This is the great exchange: the sinless One treated as the sinner, so that sinners might be treated as the righteous One.
A New Race in Christ
Salvation is not a patched-up old life but a new birth into a new humanity. To be "in Christ" is to belong to a new race with a new Head.
Righteous by Faith Alone
Justified means declared righteous — freely, by faith, apart from the deeds of the law. This is the article on which the church stands or falls, and where every false gospel adds one fatal word: "and."
Peace, Assurance, and the Law
If righteousness rests on Christ's finished work and not our record, the believer may have peace and may know he is saved — and the law, far from abolished, finally finds its rightful place.
